THE ALFA 2N PRESS:

The basket press has proven itself as an incredibly effective tool for gently extracting wine from drained must. Our Alfa 2N basket press is a new and innovative approach to the standard basket press. With updated and additional features we've managed to simplify the process, increase safety and allow for greater control of the pressing cycle by the winemaker. The press has a rolling vertical frame that provides safe, easy access to the basket for both filling and unloading. There is also an integral 60 gallon wine reservoir that provides extra time for the cellar crew to ensure a safe transfer of the wine to barrel or tank. When finished pressing, the press pan can be rotated to dispose of the pomace easily and safely.
